In 1985 we bought our first Golden Retriever, Jolly Jumper Of Bridge Four.
Our first inexperienced steps into the world of dog shows proved she was quite a good dog, she even won a Reserve CAC (we didn't know the meaning of this at that time). We wanted to have a litter with her. In 1987 we got our affix No Hills. The first time Jolly was mated to Noravon Amos, owned by Bart and Myriam van Maren., but there were no pups. The second mating was by Styal Sungleam owned by Jan Bertels, this time only two pups, two dogs by a caesarian section. At a last attempt, also by Styal Sungleam, their was only one puppy, again with caesarian section. Afterwards we never mated Jolly again, because obviously their was something wrong with her fertility.
This puppy became our Only-One No Hills, the mother of our Xibelle No Hills. Only-One was not shown much, but she proved herself in obedience. In 1994 she even took part at the Belgian Championship for Obedience. She passed on her working ability to her children. Xibelle had a lovely litter with Sequins Shamrock, the two girls had to stay: Esperanza No Hills and Espresso No Hills.
In 1989 we bought Woodland Paradise Seths Melissa from Elsa Stevens. Out of her litter with Mjaerumhogda's Goldman we kept Pumpkin No Hills, the mother of Xmiley No Hills and Xshiba No Hills, and out of her litter with Chevanne Mighty Endeavour we kept Sweetnsassy No Hills. Unfortunately we have no progeny of Sweetnsassy , due to an accident she could not be mated anymore.
In 1997 we bought a second dog from Elsa Stevens, Woodland Paradise Peaches, a daughter of Garbank Caitrin, a bitch we already admired at the time she was a puppy herself. Because of her we gained a certain intrest in the Garbank-Lislone kennel in Scotland, which resulted in 2000 in the purchase of our Garbank Lislone Rondalay.
We were always a small kennel with only bitches, and for many years we were looking for a male golden to complete our kennel, but never found what we were looking for. Until the end of 2003 we were able to import this lovely Swedish boy out of the Guldruschen's kennel. Ch. Guldruschen's Winter Collection sired his first children, Exquise No Hills and Esprit No Hills, who have the same outgoing temperament as their dad. Out of Garbank Lislone Rondalay he gave us Fiesta No Hills.
Out of her last litter with Dutch Champion Xanthous Cantona Garbank Lislone Rondalay gave us Hallelelujah No Hills and her brother Hiphurray No Hills.
In 2008 Exquise No Hills crossed the channel to the United Kingdom where she had a rendezvous with Sh. Ch. Shardanell Castaspell. Out of this lovely litter we kept Ch.Hotline No Hills and her brother Happydays No Hills. Two youngsters who are not only goodlooking, but also have good health results and a wonderful temperament. In 2011 Ch. Hotline No Hills was mated to Ch. Chicago Down Town van de Beerse Hoeve and her daughter Ch.Kadootje No Hills stayed with us. In 2014 Hotline got her second litter sired by Ch. Thornywait Aceymac, Next In Line No Hills stayed with us.
Exquise No Hills her second litter was sired by Ch. Majik Finders Keepers, the girl that stayed was called Koffee No Hills. Together with Ch. Non-Stop James Bond Koffee gave us One Cup Of Coffee No Hills.
Also Espresso No Hills had a litter in 2008, she gave us six boys and one girl. This one girl had to stay, and became our. Ch. Hille No Hills. She is a credit to her mother's lines and reminds us so much of her grandmother, Xibelle. Out of Hille we have two girls, Ch. Nougatine No Hills, sire Sh.Ch. Gillbryan Any Dream Will Do and Ch. On The Catwalk No Hills, sire Ch. House Calls van de Beerse Hoeve.
